He That Hath Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear...

I just love reading the stories of JESUS from the gospels, and today as I was shaving in my half bathroom (the man-cave of the house), I always listen to the Word of GOD by audio.  And I was listening, the Holy Spirit brought by attention to the words of Jesus- "He That Hath Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear.. 


This quote came after the teaching, healing, and rebuking Jesus had already performed.  It dawned on me that this quote is very important, and it brought a very important verse to my mind that is found in the book of James that says:


"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.. God is saying that He wants us to always be quick to hear and slow to speak..


And as think about this concept, this can be a very hard thing to do.  Most of us would like to talk than listen to sound judgment.  Most of us (and this includes me) would rather speak than accept sound wisdom.  


Most of us would rather tell our loved one what we think rather than listen to their side of the story.  Most of us would rather talk to GOD and not hear what He is trying to say to us..


It's obvious that as created being in the image of GOD we have two important items on each side of our heads called ears, and those ears were made to LISTEN.  But, sometimes listening can be mistaken for hearing.  Jesus expects us to hear and listen to what He is saying.  In this comes the power to be obedient.  


The Bible clearly states that "Obedience is Better than Sacrifice"- 1 Samuel 15:22-  So now that there's a clear understanding of the quote- "He That Hath Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear", I want to give some sound principles on how to put this into practice.


1. Silence- The Word of God directs us to meditate on God's Word daily- Joshua 1:8- Silence is the voice of GOD when you are tuned into searching out His Will for your life.  So take some time out of your day to not only talk to God, but to listen to Him.  


2. Rest- If you are not resting, it will be very difficult to Have the Ears to Hear. There's a lot of noise in this world we live in and it's very easy to get so busy that we forget to pray or read our Bibles. This is not good at all.  


Take at least 24 hours to rest- My rest time is from Friday sundown to Saturday Sundown- (Sabbath)  This will help your body and mind to recoup back to normal stature.


3. Attend Church-  The Word of GOD also is clear about assembling together with other believers- Hebrews 10:25- There's wisdom, peace, encouragement, and hope that is in the air when you get around others going after the prize of meeting Jesus face to face. 


 Each week you have the opportunity to be a blessing to others and for others to be a blessing to you.  God always has a word for you to hear when you come to His House.  


So, take this principles to hear, and meditate on this awesome quote from Jesus.  "He That Hath Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear..

This world is not all sorrow and misery. "God is love" is written upon every opening bud, upon the petals of every flower, and upon every spire of grass. Though the curse of sin has caused the earth to bring forth thorns and thistles, there are flowers upon the thistles and the thorns are hidden by roses.
All things in nature testify to the tender, fatherly care of our GOD and to His desire to make His children happy.

 His prohibitions and injunctions are not intended merely to display His authority, but in all that He does He has the well-being of His children to view. He does not require them to give up anything that it would be for their best interest to retain.

The opinion which prevails in some classes of society, that religion is not conducive to health or to happiness in this life, is one of the most mischievous of errors. The Scripture says: "The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied" (Proverbs 19:23). "What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? Keep thou tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it" (Psalm 34:12-14). The words of wisdom "are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh" (Proverbs 4:22).


True religion brings man into harmony with the laws of God, physical, mental, and moral. It teaches self-control, serenity, temperance. Religion ennobles the mind, refines the taste, and sanctifies the judgment. It makes the soul a partaker of the purity of heaven. Faith in God's love and overruling providence lightens the burdens of anxiety and care.

It fills the heart with joy and contentment in the highest or lowest lot. Religion tends directly to promote health, to lengthen life, and to heighten our enjoyment of all it's blessings. It opens to the soul a never-failing fountain of happiness. Would that all who have not chose Christ might realize that He has something vastly better to offer them than they are seeking for themselves...

There is intimate relation between the mind and the body, and in order to reach a high standard of moral and intellectual attainment the laws that control our physical being must be heeded. To secure a strong- well-balanced character, both the mental and physical powers must be exercised and developed. What study can be more important...than that which treats of this wonderful organism that God has committed to us, and of the laws by which it may be preserved in health?- Patriarchs and Prophets, pp. 600, 601.

The Sacred Law of GOD- Is It Really Null and Void?

One of the greatest deceptions of the Devil is convincing believers that the Law of GOD is null and void, or basically it has been done away with. This is one of the greatest lies ever. It is the grand stimulus, the constraining force, that quickens the physical, mental, and spiritual powers, and directs the life into right channels.

The reason why the youth, and even those of mature years, are so easily led into temptation and SIN, is that they do not study the word of GOD and meditate upon it as they should. The lack of firm, decided will power, which is manifest in life and character, results from neglect of the sacred instruction of GOD's word. They do not by earnest effort direct the mind to that which would inspire pure, holy thought and divert it from that which is impure and untrue.

The truth of the Bible, received will uplift mind and soul. If the word of GOD were appreciated as it should be, both young and old would possess an inward rectitude, a strength of principle, that would enable them to resist temptation. Let men teach and write the precious things of the Holy Scriptures. Let the thought, the aptitude, the keen exercise of brain power, be given to the study of the thoughts of GOD. Study not the philosophy of man's conjectures, but study the philosophy of HIM who is truth. NO other literature can compare with this in value.

The mind that is earthly finds no pleasure in contemplating the word of GOD; but for the mind renewed by the Holy Spirit, divine beauty and celestial light shine from the sacred page. That which to the earthly mind was a desolate wilderness, to the spiritual mind becomes a land of living streams...

I love to write and talk about things I've been going through spiritually during the week. I've come to realize that as a Disciple of Christ, each week is a different BATTLE. I know that you can relate. However, standing on the Promises of Christ Jesus will make Most battles seem like the mist of the air.

Two Mites to Live=>> Mark 12:41-44

According to Strong's Concordance, a Mite= 1\5 of a Cent. WOW!!

When you read this passage, you will notice that the Widow only gave 2 Mites and the Teachers of the LAW gave their Riches, but Christ saw something GOLDEN in the widow.

REPENTENCE jumped off the page and touched my Spirit when I read this. Christ always has a way of teaching us different lessons through HIS Holy Spirit, and it was just what I needed. I felt like he spoke loud and clear to me about having a True Heart and a Turning away of SIN.

True Conversion will not happen unless YOU are Converted, which means a True HEART change for the Better, or a Sorrow for what you have Done. What did the Apostle Peter say to those in the book of ACTS that wanted to Inherit the Kingdom of GOD? Repent and Be Converted that your SINS may be Blotted Out (Acts 3:19).

Tonight, I will be speaking on this very subject. I am apart of a Group here in Tulsa, OK called V.O.L.T.A.G.E. which means Victory Over Life's Trials and Gaining Eternity. This is a small group of young adults, 20-30 somethings, that get together every Friday night @ 7pm (CST).

Instead of taking the offer of the WORLD, we make it a point to Dive in GOD's word as much as Possible as this is our SWORD of defense (Hebrews 4:12) As Christians, we are called to be Separate from the WORLD, however there are a lot of Christians who don't practice this (1 John 2:15).

So, 2 Mites to Live. How Many mites do you have left? I encourage you today to take Hold of The gift of Repentence that GOD gives to each and every Soul. If there is no true Repentence, there's no true Conversion, which mean no True Blotting of SINS, which means DEATH (Romans 6:23).

Beloved, I hope this touched you as it touched me. Christ is coming back soon, and we need to be READY to meet HIM in Spirit and Truth. Read your Word, Pray, Worship HIS HOLY name and the GOD of PEACE will Save you (Philippians 4:7). God Bless:)

Is JESUS CHRIST #1 In Your Life?

If I were to ask you who or what do you love the most, what would you Say? Our lips can speak one thing, but our HEARTS can be somewhere else. What about you? Jesus Christ is coming soon and the Enemy is going to do everything He can do DECEIVE you.

You see, eternal life is equivalent to the compacity Jesus in Your HEART. Ever Feel like your Drifting Away? Has Past SINS been Knocking at your door? Beloved, seek Jesus More. Take HIM everywhere you Go; Read HIS word throughout the Day. Renew Your Mind Daily (Romans 12:2)

2. Prayer without Ceasing- You don't Necessarily have to be on your Knees to Pray. Having your mindset on CHRIST and his purpose for your day, week, and LIFE can be enough. Simply talking with GOD is what will help grow the Relationship. You simply have to Remember that GOD created us to Commune with us. He LOVES us so that HE wouldn't have it any other way. So Beloved, when your Thoughts are on HIM, take HEED that HIS EYE is upon You.

3. Share the Fruit- John 15:2=> Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Beloved, we as Followers of CHRIST have to bear fruit. What is this fruit? Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, etc. (Galatians 5:22-23). We are to Also Share the LOVE that abound in us throught the GRACE that CHRIST has given us. Witnessing to others the INFINITE LOVE of CHRIST JESUS.

JESUS CHRIST can't be #2 in your Life. He has to be #1 before anything and anyone. Christ directs us to SEARCH OUR HEARTS daily to make sure our ELECTION IS always Sure. Friend, won't you Keep HIM First at all Times? Grace and PEACE be multiplied to Those Whose HEARTS are Kept on the CHRIST. (Isaiah 26:3); (2 Peter 1:2)

Are You Making Your Election Sure?

It's NOT enough as a Christian just to Believe in Christ Jesus. The Bible says that even the Demons believe and they Tremble. As a Disciple of Christ Jesus, it is relevant to make sure your election is sure. But then again, are you a Disciple or just a Believer?

A Believer=>> Believes in Jesus Christ only, but doesn't fulfill the call of Christ.

A Disciple=> Takes up their Cross everyday and follows Christ, their Shephard, everywhere he goes. They listen to his voice and take action. They follow HIS commandments. They love him and have a tight relationship with their LORD and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

2 Peter 1: 1-10

The LORD calls us out to make our election sure. Sometimes we try to do it in our own powers, which is impossible to carry out. The ONLY Way to is take part in the DIVINE NATURE OF CHRIST JESUS.

The LORD coucils all Disciples of HIS Kingdom to Cast Our Cares upon HIM, because he cares for Us. 1 Peter 5:7

Beloved, You are Cherished by GOD (Psalm 139: 17-18). Never foget that. If you are going through the Struggle, REJOICE, the Bible says (Philippian 4:4-5)

The PEACE that Passes ALL Understanding....

Today's devotion is all about the PEACE that our LORD Jesus Christ is ready and willing to give to all those who Love and Trust HIM. Sometimes we try to get PEACE through other avenues, but ultimately our efforts will always leave us empty.

The Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7=>> Be Careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto GOD,

and the PEACE of GOD, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Here we see that the PEACE that GOD Freely gives comes by not being Anxious, by Prayer and Supplication with Thanksgiving. The Key is to bring EVERYTHING to the Altar of GOD Daily..

We're all Anxious for Something; Why Not Be Anxious to Talk to our GOD Daily as our Request are always afloat.

Has Jesus Christ Passed by You Today?

Exodus 33:22-23 Says: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock., and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by; (v.23)- And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Most people would disregard the old testament as just "old stuff" and give their utmost attention over to the new testament. My Bible says, that GOD is the same today, yesterday, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8). Even in the old testament, GOD is truly loving, truly compassionate, and truly merciful.

GOD has given me a ministry to spread to the whole world by HIS WORD. In the Cleft Ministries is based off Exodus 33:22-23, where GOD hides Moses in the Cleft of the Rock and passes right by him with all his Glory. The gentleness of GOD and the Peace that passes ALL understanding is so powerful here.

The Truth is, GOD passes by us daily, however most of the time we are not paying attention. He still whispers in that still small voice. He still HEALS the sick. HE still sends HIS peace. HE still answers prayers. HE still saves Souls. HE heals the Broken-hearted. HE binds up Wounds.

HE is the author and the Finisher of our Faith.
The Mission of in the Clift Ministries is the Tell the World about the Truth, Love, and Peace of Jesus Christ. HE is longing for you to see HIM pass by you. Be Still and know that HE is always there. HE Longs to pass by us and to Secure our SOULS for Heaven.

More Today, Christ is interested in saving souls than Ever Before. Knowing about Bible end time prophecy is CRITICAL for these last days. People are thirsty for the truth and the Revelation of Jesus Christ. It is my Duty to give you the keys of what GOD has already showed me by his GRACE and Wisdom.
